Powerpoint in Mac is missing some fonts
Hello Techies, I recently came across an issue that could be a small issue according to you, but I feel these are very crucial for some users. I am going to be frequently using PowerPoint, where I use a particular font, 'Abadi.' I would appreciate it if someone could help me with a fix regarding this.
word template repeating a field that contains multiple values
How can we have a field/column which contains multiple values repeat in a template. steps I followed Click on the parent node right click then 'repeating' in the content control box then right click on field/column then insert as plain text Still I only see the last value of the column. I was expecting it will give all the values that the column has on by one.
Microsoft 365 Subscriptions
In fourth quarter of 2024, I decided to upgrade my machine and tried out a web only version (freeware) of Microsoft 365. After some time, I found out that I was not getting the qualities I needed for documentation to be presentable as Microsoft Word and Excel were not usable for print formats. I decided to buy a Microsoft 365 Business subscription (bought through my domain provider) which allowed me to use my email address attached to me and my website domain. This allowed me to also download desktop copies of Word and Excel. However, I ran into problems with old accounts colliding with my new ones..., for example, Skype for Business, Microsoft Store, and Microsoft Live would constantly appear in my installation admins. If I attempted to install them, the installation would fail and get stuck i.e, I could not remove them. Microsoft message pop-ups would state, "You cannot install this on a 'work' account." I thought to myself, "Okay, I installed my Windows OS as a "Work Account on my new machine." This made sense, because I could go to my browser on my new machine and I could go to my old laptop that had absolutely no Microsoft 365 on it and access my Office from my browser profile. My old laptop is the only machine that accepts the Windows Live email address i.e., it acts as a Windows Live access service via the 'free' outlook account to which it is attached. However, now that all these items are separated by Work or Home classification, I keep getting messages that state, "We cannot renew your Microsoft 365 account." But my Work account should not be attached to Microsoft Live accounts...should it? After all, it uses Entra ID for access and the subscription is bought through my domain vendor. Why is Microsoft Support sending me these emails? My original setup accessed Microsoft Live accounts via the web through my old laptop using my free Outlook email and looked something like the graphic below:
Word - Repeating Content Control - Nightmare/Help!
Its suppose to be a simple process/tasks - I cannot make it work. Here is what I am trying to do. I have created a Word Document - Office 365. Document has few Plain Control Text Fields and 2 Repeating Repeating Section Content Control i.e Projects & Timesheets. Timesheets is nested in Projects. I am passing JSON from Power Automate. JSON structure matches Plain Control Text Fields title and tag name as well as tag and name for Repeating Section Content Controls. Word is writing the write value for Plain Control Text Fields (2) that are outside of Repeating Section Content Control Fields, but not repeating nor adding to any Plain Control Text Fields. Since the upgrade to Version 16.96 (25041326), Word is constantly lagging in the interface, some commands aren’t responding, saving a file locally on the disk can take up to two minutes, also occasionally failing. Designer feature disappears in Word on office.com
Whenever i open a new Word document on office.com - during the loading phase i can see the Designer button present between Add-Ins and Copilot. Within some time the button disappears. There are no menu options available to bring it back either. I have a subscription for Microsoft 365 yet this is happening. to big title bar in Office 365 update 2408
Hi all, since a couple of days I have to work with the ugly, annoying, awful, ... user interface in Office 365. The title bar size became horrible large. Compared with an explorer window from Win 10 it is nearly the double height. As an Office Poweruser (I'm working with the office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) unluckily the whole day) I'm looking for smallen the title bar again. There was a registry hack, but on my machine this isn't working anymore. Because of the ribbon interface and a lot of not needed functions this is how my Quick Access Toolbars (QAT) are looking like: Now somebody could tell my, "OK, switch the QAT to the top, so that the title bar get more sense! Problem is, that the monochrome icons are absolutly boring AND especially for Word I can't differ between my macros, which I set with different colours. The title bar is smaller because of the standard buttons and the search field, so that not all my most loved commands have space here Dragging the window can not be done with the title bar, as it was since the beginning of time. I need to find some space somewhere. Does someone have an idea to reduce the size of the title bar as it was before? Or does someone have an idea to colorize the icons, when they are inside the title bar? If I consider that the taskbar is also increasing in size, especially in WIN 11 where this isn't adjustable, both sides (top + bottom) in sum are steeling to many space. Cheers! Kay
