Microsoft Places Analytics - Missing data
Hi! I'm looking to hear if anyone has succesfully configured Microsoft Places Analytics according to the guidelines here: Microsoft Places Analytics - Microsoft Places | Microsoft Learn I've reached out to Microsoft Support several months ago regarding this but the case has not progressed at all unfortunately when it comes to actually reaching a solution. I'm struggling to get enough data to show even though the following is OK: All buildings have analytics enabled The name of the building matches the attribute "Office Location" in Entra ID. A mail-enabled security group is used for assigning permissions to Places Analytics (as-per the requirements). All users of the above group have Teams Premium I'm mostly focusing on the building analytics here since that one is most interesting for us. Example of charts with missing or incomplete data: The above one shows nothing even though it should be fetched from the work location in conjuction with the leader's organisation data. In the above chart it's succesfully mapping the headcount of the number of people that have set their work plan with a chosen building, however it's completely ignoring the "remote" parts. Also ignoring the people that have no work plan set but do have the same Office location as the building name - which it should fetch from according to the "?" button: It's even more clear further down in the same "?": In my case it's ONLY showing the ones with a work plan set and with the actual building in question set. It's the same type of issue for most of the data but I believe that solving it on one end will solve the rest. So I'm really hoping there's someone else out there that has succesfully configured Places Analytics and might shed some light on what my configuration might be missing. Thanks!
Microsoft Places individual desk booking is not working
Hi, Following the documentation, Configure desk booking - Microsoft Places | Microsoft Learn, I successfully ran the shared command lines without any errors. However, on Microsoft Places, I am unable to see individual desks appear; only desk pools are visible. Has anyone managed to get this to work? Thanks,
Force update to targeted release for Teams?
We have a number of people on the M365 targeted release option and they've been getting the updates including Teams for a while ⬇️ We also added some more people over 72 hours (3 days) ago to the targeted release option in the M365 admin center but they still don't have the Teams update They've signed out of the Teams desktop app and then signed in again to try and move things along but no change How long should this take? Is there a way of making this happen quicker? Thanksto big title bar in Office 365 update 2408
Hi all, since a couple of days I have to work with the ugly, annoying, awful, ... user interface in Office 365. The title bar size became horrible large. Compared with an explorer window from Win 10 it is nearly the double height. As an Office Poweruser (I'm working with the office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) unluckily the whole day) I'm looking for smallen the title bar again. There was a registry hack, but on my machine this isn't working anymore. Because of the ribbon interface and a lot of not needed functions this is how my Quick Access Toolbars (QAT) are looking like: Now somebody could tell my, "OK, switch the QAT to the top, so that the title bar get more sense! Problem is, that the monochrome icons are absolutly boring AND especially for Word I can't differ between my macros, which I set with different colours. The title bar is smaller because of the standard buttons and the search field, so that not all my most loved commands have space here Dragging the window can not be done with the title bar, as it was since the beginning of time. I need to find some space somewhere. Does someone have an idea to reduce the size of the title bar as it was before? Or does someone have an idea to colorize the icons, when they are inside the title bar? If I consider that the taskbar is also increasing in size, especially in WIN 11 where this isn't adjustable, both sides (top + bottom) in sum are steeling to many space. Cheers! Good morning, I propose that MS developers add a new option to the contextual menu for document handling, which would be especially useful for online work. It is sometimes necessary to open a document in read-only mode, but there is currently no option to do so. Moving meetings owned by an ex-employee to give someone else the ownership requires manual intervention to find and reschedule meetings. Administrators can cancel future meetings for a user.
