Can anyone suggest a reliable and efficient EML to MBOX Converter tool? Something that has a 100% data conversion guarantee.0Views0likes0CommentsAccidentally pressing "Stream Media" on first connection wiped almost all of my mobile device data
What happened is the following order of events: I plugged my mobile device for backing up my data to a separate storage. As Windows 11 detected the device, it prompted "What do you want to do with this device?" Typically I select open explorer, but this time I mistakenly clicked on "Stream media" and it opened a Windows Media Player legacy. Somewhere along this time, the app began to backup my data. (Note that this backup was most likely by Windows Media Player Legacy; It cannot be OneDrive as I uninstalled the app from the system.) Without knowing this happening, I used Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V to cut-paste the data from my mobile device to my PC. What ended up happening is that as the Media Player was backing up the mobile device's "Folder A", I was also transferring data of Folder A to my PC. This caused a desync, and while about 20% of the data from Folder A was transferred to my PC, it seems like 80% of the data was pulled by Media Player. In the end, Media Player failed to backup my data and 80% of the data is now completely lost. Is there any way of recovering this data? I feel like it has to be somewhere in my PC, but I cannot find it.26Views0likes3Comments- 0Views0likes0Comments
How to Unlock Android Phone If Forgot Android Password?
Our company has an old test Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S10) and the employee who is in charge of taking care of the phone left the position for two months. Now, nobody knows the password and PIN on that phone. How can we unlock Android if forgot Android password? It could be best to keep the data untouched in order to recover or reset the passcode. It started downloading file pl-pl_windows_10_consumer_editions_version_22h2_updated_jan_2025_x64_dvd_45152214iso Is this iso file safe without viruses and can it be downloaded from this website? I am interested in the Pro version of Windows 10. I would like to download a clean and latest MSDN iso file. Where should I download Windows 10 images? From the original Microsoft websit, instead of the iso file the site downloads the program the MediaCreationTool_22H2.exe program, which downloads the ISO image. However, there is a risk that the ISO file downloaded this way might have a different checksum than the original MSDN SHA256 checksum 3f8797c04f50e818a9ad6af93712d6f071e113c16642d1fe8b07ef43ed7f042a. This could mean that the downloaded file might be modified, but I want the original.641Views0likes2CommentsCreate Desktop Shortcut for Sleep
I'm trying what I thought would be a very simple task, I'd like a desktop shortcut for sleep. Note that I want plain "sleep" and not "hibernate". However, even though I've tried a bunch of solutions I find, every one of them appears to actually invoke Hibernate. While that certainly works, it takes a lot longer to wake up, which is what I'm trying to avoid. When the computer sleep timeout occurs, the proper sleep mode is enabled. Also, if I key Win/x, u, s, that also enters the desired sleep mode. Of course, that's a bunch of keystrokes, so I'd just like to have the shortcut. Here's my Screen, sleep, & hibernate timeout settings. When this kicks in, it accomplishes exactly what I'm trying to do, I just need to figure out how to put this in a desktop shortcut. :) I hasten to point out, I've found a bunch of different recommendations for commands that "sleep", but every one of them appears to actually invoke "hibernate" instead of sleep.32Views0likes2CommentsHow to clear the Location service - Recent Activity
I use an app called Homedale to view nearby Wi-Fi signals. This helps me choose which channels are best to use for my router. It uses the Location service in Windows 11. It scans my area every few seconds. When I go to Settings/Privacy & Security and click on 'Location' under the App Permissions section, under Recent Activity it is showing that Homedale has used the Location service over 10000 times in the past 7 days. My question... How can I clear this recent activity list?18Views0likes2Comments- 36Views0likes6Comments
Windows Media creation tool won't open - how to fix?
I'm having trouble with the Windows Media Creation Tool, as it won't open on my system. I've tried running it as an administrator and checking for Windows updates, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. If anyone has suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem or alternative methods to create a bootable USB for Windows installation, I would really appreciate the help. I've checked my anti-virus settings and ensured that any security software isn't blocking the tool, but I still can't seem to get it to launch. The tool initially worked for me, so I'm not sure what changed. Any guidance on fixing this issue or insight into the possible causes would be highly beneficial.3.2KViews0likes7CommentsThe best spotify playlist downloader supports more than 100 songs?
Hi everyone, Came across an amazing Spotify playlist that has more than 100 songs. Is there any good spotify playlist downloader for this purpose? Many online spotify playlist downloading tools I've tried either cap the download limit, have poor audio quality, or stop working after a few tracks. I need something that can efficiently download entire playlists while maintaining good sound quality—preferably 320kbps or close to it. What I need: Supports downloading entire playlists (100+ tracks) High-quality audio (preferably 320kbps) No malware/spyware (trusted software only) Works on Windows/Mac (or web-based) Much appreciated for any tips on this matter.809Views0likes8CommentsFile Explorer ignoring UNBLOCKED file status with 24H2
FILE EXPLORER IGNORING UNBLOCKED FILE STATUS AFTER DOWNLOAD AND UNBLOCK I updated to Win 11 23H2 --> 24H2 some days ago. Yesterday I used Mark Russinovich tool "Streams" to manually remove from CMD prompt the "file comes from another computer..." warning, e.g.: Today I noticed I have a problem with Zone.Identifier ADS files: File Explorer is extremely slow to update file status "unblocked" after I unblock it, and still reports the file is coming from another PC. When I try to unblock it again, I get this error ("can't find file". I suppose it is correct since Zone.Identifier ADS files should have been removed: The problem remains: File Explorer is ignoring the unblocked file status. Even after 5 mins the file is still "coming from another PC..." (???) when I choose Properties. Sometimes randomly, after a while, when I check again the unblocked status it is finally acknowledged by File Explorer. dir /r on the previously unblocked files from File Explorer shows the SmartScreen:$DATA is still there... Zone.Identifier:$DATA is gone instead. Which is OK I guess. Quick test: download a file from Edge with SmartScreen enabled, then with right-mouse-button select Properties and unblock the file. Now re-open Properties for that file... Reproducible also from Safe Mode (!). Is it a new File Explorer bug in 24H2? C:\Windows\Explorer.exe 6.2.26100.2454 Edge Browser 131.0.2903.99 Windows 11 24H2 26100.2605 Can't see other reports about this bug on the net...973Views2likes12CommentsVery Frustrating that MS says Universal Print connector is available in preview but it is not
I spoke to a Microsoft tech - showed him the docs where it says Universal Print connector is in preview but it really isn't. If anyone knows a way to accomplish printing besides send to eprint or combo PAC and PAD and no third party connector, I'm all ears. Documentation below leads you to believe you can do it:53Views1like5CommentsKB5055528 Breaks RDP
