This cannot be used in the marked area. Mark one cell and try again. But I am already in one cell. Please assist me in how to solve this. Thanks!5Views0likes0CommentsExcel solver frozen
I have dowloaded a file off of brightspace which has been "loading" for literally 2+ weeks because I've been ignoring the issue lol. Im using Mac, so when I try to close the program using the red button in top left corner, there is a pop up that's titled "Loading excel Add-ins" "Loading (2 of 2): solver.xlam". I had installed excel solver last year. any help to close the program so I can start a new file would be greatly appreciated.7Views0likes0CommentsChanging border colors for Map Chart made from categories
Hello, I currently have an excel sheet that contains countries and their associated categories. Example: Countries: Categories United States Category 1 Russia Category 2 China Category 3 When I insert a Map from this data, the countries that I list get colored according to the category and receive a transparent border (hard to tell since the background is white but when copied into PowerPoint the borders appear transparent). When I change the border color for the series under 'Format' and 'Series' and 'Border', 'Solid Line', it changes the border color for all countries for which no data is provided, but leaves the transparent borders untouched. How can I change the border color of all my countries which have category data? I am able to manually change each border color individually, but I want a way to change all the borders at once and without using vba. Also, I am using Excel 365 for Mac—there seem to be some differences in application type. Thanks!344Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft AutoUpdate error installing Excel 16.97
Hi, I am getting an update error installing Microsoft Excel 16.97 on Mac OS Sequoia. I am currently on 16.96. The install stops near the end of the progress bar for a long time and then I get an update error. I've had similar issues before and resolved by installing from the pkg file but I can't find the 16.97 install file.498Views0likes4CommentsUnable to rename tabs and controls in my custom ribbon
In Excel for Mac (latest version 16.98), I've created a new tab in the ribbon to put my custom macros in a new group. But I can't change the name of the tab, which remains "New tab", nor the name of the group (which remains "New group"). Nor can I change the name displayed for each macro in the ribbon, or the icon. When I click on the little button with three dots and then "Rename", the new names I type in are not taken into account when I click on "Save".26Views0likes1CommentDrop down menus
Hi, Is it in any way possible to create multiple drop down menus, with a follow up drop down menu menu? For example; Column a: Brand (Shure, Sennheiser, Wisycom) I want in Column B (when you choose Shure); Axient, ULXD, SLXD, BLXD, and for example if you choose Sennheiser instead, to change the drop down menu to; EW100, EW300, EW500. IS this in Any way possible?78Views0likes4Comments网赌被黑怎么办 有办法挽救吗?
(wx:RYG622)(QQ:157764444)(飞机@lmg567)先出款,后收费! I have a macro that I've written to "reformat" some data in Excel (not font types and colors and such, but how the data is laid out in the spreadsheet). I found a macro that records how long it takes a macro to run, and that macro consistently runs for about 30 seconds. The problem is that the reason I'm reformatting the data is to import into Access, and I don't want my users to have to have intimate knowledge of Access or Excel to reformat the data and import it into the Access database. Thus, I've created a form with a button that allows the user to select a file from a dialog box, and then the macro runs on that file. Ad for some reason, when done this way, the macro takes upwards of 6 minutes. I don't know if it would be helpful to post the code of the macro here, or if there's some generic advice that will help. I just can't imagine why this increase in run-time is happening.91Views0likes1Comment
