New 3Yr Offer for ME3 and ME5
I see the announcement in Partner Center Announcements that the 3Yr Term for ME3 and ME5 will be available in June and there is an FAQ, but it says I don't have permissions to access. Can anyone else access this? Also, does anyone know what the liability is for the Partner? When I look at the billing terms documentation for 3Yr terms, it was last updated April 25th and is very specific to Dynamics. It does state that a partner can cancel during the term, but again, is that specific to Dynamics or is that an option for the new SKUs as well?
The team told me the issue was resolved. Partners should be able to access it! Please confirm! 👌

It is working now. Thank you.

Also really interested in the Billing Terms documentation you're revering to, do you have a link? As currently it's not possible to cancel a 3-Y term for D365. Just like any other NCE term, you're stuck with it.
If documentation says otherwise, then I really need to have a discussion with Microsoft about it 😅 We've had multiple cases of customers going bankrupt and the partner still needed to pay for the remaining 3-Y term and Microsoft didn't want to support to cancel earlier on.

Is this something you may be able to assist with?
The download link for the FAQ works but the PDF document appears to be restricted, and partners cannot open it.

Hi Heather5975
Which billing terms document are you referring to that states 3-year commitment term subscriptions for Dynamics can be cancelled early. I do not believe this to be the case, and the commitment term in NCE subscriptions all work the same whether 3-years, 1-year or 1-month. No mid-term reductions or cancellations.

Here is the language I am referring to. Perhaps I am reading it incorrectly? It won't let me include the link, but it is a Partner Center Learn document, under Pricing - Pricing Overview
Thirty-six month offers
There are approximately 50 Dynamics offers that have three-year terms. These are identified by (36 mo) in the title of the offers. These offers are similar to the yearly term offers. The only difference is their term. These offers renew automatically after three years instead of one.
Here's a summary of how these offers work:
- Terms are thirty-six months, and subscriptions renew automatically after three years.
- Partners can cancel or change the number of licenses throughout the term of the subscription.
- Annual renewal is at the price of purchase time for the three-year term.
- Billing frequency is still yearly or monthly.

The '(36 mo)' subscriptions reflect to the Legacy CSP subscriptions model, but does not apply to NCE subscriptions. So this is old and outdated information for the old CSP model.
